Skilpadtepel is a unique gin with notes of juniper, coriander, orange and
Chinese pea flower. The Chinese pea flower gives it it’s dark purple
colour which changes as soon as it reacts with an acidic base such as
from a tonic. Skilpadtepel pairs well with most tonic, but elderflower
tonic gives it a very premium taste profile.
The name originates from the Afrikaans singer, Adam Tas’ song:
